1. Surface Preparation Standards
Ensure substrate is structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from defects, contaminants (grease/wax), or poorly adhered materials
For optimal results:
• Lightly sand with suitable abrasive
• Remove all dust before application
Critical Parameters:
• Moisture content <16% (measured by protimeter)
• pH level <9
2. Defect Remediation Protocol
Mechanical Removal:
• Eliminate loose paint/powdery residues via stiff brushing or high-pressure water jetting (recommended)
Biological Treatment:
• Apply fungicidal wash to mold/lichen/algae/moss colonies
Substrate Repair:
• Patch minor cracks/defects with compatible filler
